Entry requirements

Must be 18 years old or over.

Academic Entry Requirement: Completion of Year 10 (or equivalent in the student’s home country)*

English Entry Requirement: Academic IELTS score of 5.5 overall with minimum 5.0 in all bands or equivalent.**

*Any AQF Qualification at the Certificate III level or above in any discipline area delivered and assessed in English will be deemed as meeting both the academic and English entry requirements.
**Students who do not possess a valid official English test result can take Liberty Construction College online LLN Test.

Work Placement

Students are required to undertake a minimum of 400 hours of student work placement during the course.

Pathways

Upon completion of the CPC31311 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling, graduates may undertake other trade qualifications or progress the CPC50210 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) or other qualifications.

Tiling is an interesting and stable growth industry. The application and functions of tiles as they suit and match environments aesthetically as well as ergonomically and with practicality.

We provide aim to prepare our students for the workforce. This certification is offered as a mixed-mode course, meaning students will spend time learning in class for theory knowledge and practice skills in the practical area, and also developing real work-site skills during job placement hours.
